Purchase SINGLE TICKETSThe program explores the expressive range of the string quartet across three centuries. The program opens with Haydn’s witty “Joke” Quartet, full of charm and clever surprises.
Next is Polish composer Grazyna Bacewicz’s bold and dynamic String Quartet No. 3, a striking example of mid-20th-century modernism.
The concert concludes with Ravel’s lush and vibrant String Quartet in F Major, a masterpiece of impressionistic colour and rhythmic drive.
