This program explores the expressive power of chamber music across time, beginning with Giovanni Sollima’s Lamentatio, a visceral solo cello work that channels ancient lament traditions through a contemporary lens.

The mood shifts with Dvořák’s charming Bagatelles, which blend folk-inspired rhythms and melodic warmth. Chopin’s late Polonaise-Fantasie offers a deeply introspective solo piano work, merging national dance form with rhapsodic freedom.

The program culminates in Schumann’s Piano Quartet in E-flat major, a Romantic masterpiece full of lyrical richness, dynamic interplay, and emotional depth.
